Chelsea prepare to offer two players in a bid to sign Crystal Palace winger

Chelsea appears to be leading the race to secure his signature.

Chelsea are prepared to offer two players in a bid to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. He is getting interest from the club after having a terrific season in 2022-23. He struggled through a hamstring injury.

The 22-year-old scored 10 goals and registered six assists in 19 English top-flight matches to help Palace achieve a top-half finish. He is also linked with Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea appears to be leading the race to secure his signature. The West London had a tough time when they tried to get him on board last summer. Olise turned down a new contract with Palace until the summer of 2027.

Olise now has a £60m release clause which is only available to clubs playing in the Champions League. The Blues will take part in the Europa League. The Blues will have to negotiate a fee to prise Olise away from Selhurst Park this summer.

As per the reports of the Sun, the Blues are willing to offer at least two members of their squad in a potential player-plus-cash deal for Olise.

The report adds that the West London club could put forward defender Trevoh Chalobah and attacker Noni Madueke as candidates to move in the opposite direction.
