Chelsea plotting cunning deal to keep Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are clearly a club in crisis.

The players are leaving. The manager is gone. The club has been slapped with a transfer ban.

Chelsea have however, mostly themselves to blame for it. Eden Hazard left the club earlier this month. There are talks of Willian leaving and Pedro is north of 30.

Which means with Christian Pulisic coming in, only him and Callum Hudson-Odoi are the young bright wingers in the club.

However, Hudson-Odoi has been chased by clubs like Bayern Munich for a long time and they have not given up hope yet.

However, it seems Chelsea are plotting a cunning deal to keep their star man. Chelsea have been reported with links of bringing in Frank Lampard.

The former Chelsea legend who currently is the manager of Derby County reportedly wants to join Chelsea and the club want to use his appointment to keep hold of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi looks up to Frank Lampard and grew up at the club admiring the star. It is believed Lampard’s return will convince Hudson-Odoi to sign a new deal at the club.

The deal with Lampard and Hudson-Odoi is yet to be done however, but this seems like a good move by the Chelsea board.
