Chelsea are interested in signing PSG full-back Layvin Kurzawa on loan, according to a report.

Champions League winners have been in the market for cover in this position due to Ben Chilwell and Reece James suffering injuries. They are desperate to find a left-back for the current season.

The Blues had been linked with Lucas Digne at the start of the window, but he has joined Aston Villa.

As per the Sky Sports News, Chelsea are now interested in bringing in Kurzawa on a loan deal until the end of the season in order to provide some cover for Marcos Alonso.

The Ligue 1 full-back previously worked with Thomas Tuchel during his time in charge of the French outfit. The defender has been with the club for six-and-a-half years.

Layvin Kurzawa signed a four-year contract extension in 2020 so he has till two years in his contract. The 29-year-old has made 140 appearances during his time with the team.
