Chelse are ready to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga this January transfer window.

The Spaniard failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Athletic Club in the summer of 2018 for a whopping £71.6million.

The world’s most expensive goalkeeper might be packing his bags soon and according to reports by ESPN, Chelsea are listening to offers for Kepa.

The arrival of Edouard Mendy in the summer window was an overnight success for the Blues as he keeps making clean sheets on a regular basis.

But Kepa vowed to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place.

Frank Lampard made it clear in one of his interviews last month that he will continue to back Kepa.

He said: “We know that all eyes are on him, how competitive it is [in the squad]. As a goalkeeper, you know all eyes are on you.

“Kepa has to deal with that and also feel the support of me and the team-mates,” he said.

“It is unfortunate because he did make a couple of good saves today. When you are a goalkeeper, people will judge you on other moments as well.

“He has to keep working and there’s only one way of getting through those periods and it is to work and to feel support around him.”
