Chelsea have been reportedly placed a bid for Achraf Bid.

PSG and the Londoners are locked in a transfer battle for the Inter Milan full-back.

Inter are struggling with their finances and are looking to raise funds through player sales. They bid farewell to Antonio Conte despite the Italian boss leading them to their first Scudetto since 2011. Now, they are holding strong on their £70m valuation of Hakimi.

Real Madrid sold the Morocaan international to Inter just last summer for £35m. Inter plan on making a hefty profit on a player who is still only 22 and showing such promise. No doubt Chelsea’s attack would hit a new dimension if Hakimi stormed down the wings under Thomas Tuchel.

According to Express, they have offered £43m and Emerson Palmieri as part of a player-plus-cash deal. Chelsea are also ready to offer the likes of Davide Zappacosta, Danny Drinkwater, Mateo Kovacic or Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho believes Inter’s Nicolo Barella is similar to N’Golo Kante.

“They resemble each other in characteristics,” he said.

“They have physical power, they run for all 120 minutes, they cover a lot of the field. I must say that they give me a big hand in midfield on recovering balls.

“I think Nico looks a lot like Kanté.”
