Gallagher has been mentioned as an option to move in the opposite direction.
Chelsea are still confused on Conor Gallagher. First, they want to keep him and offer him a new contract. Now, they are planning to sell him as part of a potential swap deal with Aston Villa to sign Jhon Duran.
The Blues have reignited their interest in signing Duran after an approach during the winter transfer window. Aston Villa value Duran in the region of £40m.
Gallagher has been mentioned as an option to move in the opposite direction. The Englishman plans to move to the new club. The 24-year-old is not part of the England squad who is taking part in Euro 2024.
It is added that any deal for Duran would involve players in exchange. Villa have qualified for the Champions League this season and they also kept tabs on Armando Broja during the January transfer window.
The Albanian will be free to leave the club in the summer. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. He was also part of Champions League final against Real Madrid.
