Brighton’s Webster is a new player who has been shortlisted for the summer move.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion defender Adam Webster. Blues are looking for backup options in defence for the next season.
They have managed to tie Thiago Silva down to a short-term contract extension. Meanwhile, Tuchel gonna lose Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen at the end of the season. All three players are planning to leave the club after this season.
To boost the defence, Chelsea are planning to get new players at Stamford Bridge. They have also identified Matthijs de Ligt and Jules Kounde.
According to The Mirror, Brighton’s Webster is a new player who has been shortlisted for the summer move.
The centre-back has only appeared in 13 Premier League games this season due to injury but has helped Brighton to keep five clean sheets. He also scored two goals in his last three games against Chelsea and Watford. The Blues can face task with Newcastle United to get the signature of a centre-back.
