EA sports recently announced their team of the year and it is a time to rejoice for the Chelsea fans.
Over the years, we have been used to watching Hazard and Kante make the teams. However, this time, Hazard is not with us so who makes the team of the year?
In goal, we have Alisson Becker. The two centre backs are Virgil can Dijk and De Ligt. At right back we have English youth talent Trent Alexander-Arnold while at left back there is another Liverpool player Andy Robertson.
The three midfielders are new Barcelona signing Frenkie de Jong, Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne and our very own Ngolo Kante.
Senegalese forward Sadio Mane is on the left wing while Kylian Mbappe leads the line. Who else but the six time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi to be playing on the right?
It is an extreme honour for Chelsea who won the UEFA Europa League last season to have one of their own stars feature in the EA sports team of the year. N’Golo Kante is at the prime of his career and we at Chelsea are lucky enough to have him on our team for our upcoming future.
