Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of Leicester defender Wesley Fofana.
The Blues are in need of some defensive enforcements this summer, although they signed Kalidou Koulibaly £33m from Napoli.
They lost both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this transfer window and will definitely atleast one more centre-back before the new Premier League season unfolds.
Chelsea were linked with both Jules Kounde and Matthijs de Ligt but the players opted to join Barcelona and Bayern Munich respectively.
Journalist Simon Phillips claims Tuchel is a big fan of Fofana and have had a conversation with him in the past.
Phillips said to GIVEMESPORT: “I do know that Tuchel is a big fan of Fofana. He spoke to him, I think, at the end of one of the games that Chelsea played against Leicester last season. Obviously, I don’t know what was said, but I do know that Tuchel has always been a big fan of Fofana.
“In terms of priorities, Josko Gvardiol is just ahead of Fofana in terms of what Tuchel would choose if he had the choice of both of them. But yeah, I mean, Fofana is high up on the list as well.”
