Alexander Isak’s contract will expire in the summer of 2028.
Chelsea have started the process for the signing of Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak. They have picked few potential names for the signing and they have decided to buy this Swedish player.
The West London club are believed to be pursuing a move to sign Marc Guiu from Barcelona this summer. If they manage to get the signature of Spain Under-19 international, they will still go for another striker who can provide value to Nicolas Jackson.
Chelsea have been linked with a variety of targets, including Lille striker Jonathan David and Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier. Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran is another name in the list.
As per the reports of the Daily Mail, the West London club have made an enquiry over a potential deal to sign Isak from Newcastle this summer. The report adds that talks have taken place between the two clubs over a possible move for the Sweden international.
The 24-year-old scored 10 goals in 22 English top-flight appearances last season. He has 21 goals across all competitions in 2023-24.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United want to keep their best striker and wants to offer him a new contract. His contract will expire in the summer of 2028.
