According to reports from ESPN, Chelsea have lined up three replacements for Maurizio Sarri. Sarri is set to join Juventus.

Following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus are eager to replace Allegri with Sarri. Sarri’s first season at Chelsea saw him winning his first trophy, the Europa League.

Sarri had a fine stint at Napoli. Even though Napoli didn’t 2in a trophy under him, they were a very formidable side and Sarri is a key reason why Napoli are a side to reckon. Hence, Juventus feel that Sarri’s attacking football can benefit the club. Besides, Sarri also wants to go to Turin due to family reasons.

Chelsea need a replacement for Sarri and have identified three potential replacements. One of them is club legend Frank Lampard. Lampard did pretty well in his first managerial assignment at Derby County. Lampard came very close to attaining promotion to the Premier League. However, Aston Villa stopped them from doing so.

Frank Lampard is well acquainted with Chelsea’s culture but his managerial experience is quite low.

Another manager Chelsea have as Sarri’s successor could also be Sarri’s predecessor at Juventus- Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri has had a managerial career that has lasted for more than 15 years.

Allegri guided AC Milan to what is their last Serie A title to date in the 2010-11 season. He also won the Supercopa Italiana with the Rossoneri in 2011.

With Juventus, Allegri has won a total of 11 trophies and guided the club to two Champions League finals.

The third person Chelsea have in mind to replace Sarri is another one of their former players- Laurent Blanc. There were reports claiming that Blanc was in line to replace Sarri back in February when Chelsea suffered some poor results.
