Chelsea Keeping Track Of Teenage Sensation - Why The Blues Have To Sign Him
Bildbyran

For the past couple of weeks, Chelsea had been majorly linked with Jude Bellingham, a 16-year old Birghimham starlet. And it’s not difficult to see why.

The Blues are in major need of new players, and Bellingham is the new talent on the market.

Chelsea is notorious for signing starlets recently, since Lampard took over as head coach. The reason for this is that the Blues had signed Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku into Chelsea as kids. However, at Stamford Bridge, neither of these now star players had got much of a chance to show their skills on the pitch and Chelsea had never let them fulfill their talents.

Lampard took up the responsibility of giving youngsters like Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Reece James, and the likes, lots of chances to prove themselves. And as a young team, Bellingham fits the bill perfectly.

The issue here, however, is that apart from Chelsea, the youngster has sparked a lot of interest from many big clubs across Europe, including Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Liverpool. So who do you suppose will win the race?

Well, currently, Borussia Dortmund is leading the transfer race for the Bellingham. According to German news source Bild, for a fee of £30.5m, the 16-year old is all set to sign Borrussia Dortmund next summer.

He is Birmingham’s youngest player since he joined in August 2019. And at not even 17, he has already made 34 appearances for the club.

Chelsea does have other options, however, like 18-year-old Tino Anjorin from the academy – and are yet to sign a deal with him. Maybe they could look into him?

  1. Tino Anjorin would be a better option plus it would keep our wage bill down, frank should keep blooding new youngsters into the first team..dont waste money on jude Bellingham..we need players now not just for the future.just take a look at our youth team we have some great players who are hungry to try a game in the senior squad, if they are no good put them back to youth team
