Chelsea condemns offensive chanting from sections of the home support during Liverpool game

Caoimhin Kelleher has become a key target ahead of the summer, and Chelsea is prepared to meet Liverpool’s demands in order to get him. Mick Brown, a former senior scout for Man United and Blackburn who is still very well-connected in the game, stated exclusively to Football Insider that the Blues will try to bolster their defense when the transfer market opens.

However, it is believed that Kelleher is eager for the chance to become the best goalie on a premier league team. This comes after Football Insider exclusively reported on February 14 that the Reds would consider summer offers for the Ireland international of between £30 and £40 million. It is reported that Chelsea finds that price tag enticing and would be willing to meet those conditions since they think it would be a good deal.

By contrast, the Blues spent £25 million on Robert Sanchez, who is currently out of favor and was benched against Brighton and West Ham due to his poor play. Additionally, during the summer transfer window last year, they spent £20 million on backup option Filip Jorgensen and an additional £16.5 million on Mike Penders, who is 19 years old.

Chelsea ready to pay Liverpool asking price for star

The Republic of Ireland international has been an excellent substitute for Alisson this season, but Kelleher’s prospects of playing in the first squad will further decline once Georgi Mamardashvili returns to Liverpool in the summer. Chelsea has been showing interest in Kelleher; according to Football Insider, the Blues are now “willing to pay” the Reds’ asking price for the Irishman.

Additionally, I understand Chelsea’s interest in him. They wish to bolster their defense by acquiring a new goalie.I believe they will be vying for Kelleher’s services if he is available for £30–40 million. He has proven to be a good choice, and I believe he can continue to improve.
