According to sources, Chelsea is one of the teams keeping a close eye on Palmeiras teenager Vitor Roque’s development. Under the leadership of Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, the Blues have signed several great players from South America because they aren’t scared to tap into the market there.
Andrey Santos is also a member of Chelsea’s first team, although Estevao is perhaps the team’s best South American acquisition. Rumours are already spreading ahead of the January transfer window and even next summer, even though the transfer window hasn’t closed yet.
Chelsea are busy during transfer windows, and it doesn’t appear that this will change anytime soon, but it’s still uncertain how much business they’ll conduct in January. Tottenham and Chelsea are both reportedly keeping a close eye on Roque, according to Goal Brazil.
Chelsea considering offer for 17 goal former Barcelona star
Palmeiras are not interested in negotiating for Roque, despite the fact that both teams are reportedly mulling a bid during the next transfer window. Roque, who has previously been linked to Chelsea, is back in Brazil after his move to Barcelona just didn’t work out.
The amount of business Chelsea will do in January is still unknown, but they are busy during transfer windows and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. Still, according to Goal Brazil, Tottenham and Chelsea are among the teams closely watching Roque.
Roque is apparently being watched by Chelsea, but they also have Emanuel Emegha, a striker, coming next summer. Following the season, Emegha will join from Strasbourg after signing a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
In the striker position, the 22-year-old will face Joao Pedro and Liam Delap after scoring 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season to help Strasbourg earn a spot in the Conference League.
