Eder Militao is one of Madrid’s lowest-earning players with an annual salary of £2.5million.
Chelsea are in talks with the agent of Real Madrid defender Eder Militao. According to Marca, the centre back has three years left on his current deal at the Los Blancos.
But he is said to be one of the squad’s lowest-earning players with an annual salary of £2.5million.
It is thought that both the player and club want to renew the existing contract, but there have been no formal discussions so far.
The 25-year-old defender does not want to leave. The Brazilian enjoys working under Carlo Ancelotti. He has been eyed up by several European clubs.
Bayern Munich were the most recent club that were looking for a potential departure of the centre-back. Now, Chelsea are thought to be the frontrunners and are set for a meeting with his agent.
Chelsea might lose their top defenders at the end of the season. Rudiger is almost out of the club as he is leaving Stamford Bridge this summer. The other two defenders are linked with Barcelona.
