There are rumours that Chelsea and Newcastle have explored a possible part-exchange agreement. According to one source, Chelsea is about to make a stunning trade offer to Newcastle United for one of their finest forwards.
The Magpies are apparently seeking a sum of more than £100 million for their outstanding player, Alexander Isak, and the Blues are interested in him. As a result, Chelsea may need to sweeten the deal by offering a player in part-exchange. The West London club is reportedly prepared to offer Nicolas Jackson as a makeweight in a possible trade, according to The Sun.
With Arsenal having already expressed interest in Isak, Newcastle is fighting desperately to hang onto their valued asset. However, the Guardian claims that Chelsea is currently talking about a deal that would send Jackson to the northeast, indicating that they are still committed to making a trade.
