Chelsea identify multiple transfer targets to replace Lukaku

Lukaku was a situation that had to be done by June 30.

Inter Milan is supposed to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku this month. Chelsea and Milan are finalising terms over a loan deal for Lukaku. The transfer needs to be closed before the end of June, so the Italian club can apply the tax benefits of the Growth Decree on his gross wages.

Sky Italia‘s Alfredo Pedulla reports: “Lukaku was a situation that had to be done by June 30.

“(Paul) Dybala is an opportunity that Inter will seize calmly, knowing that one player will have to leave.

“Lautaro wants to stay and Inter want to keep him. The rumours linking (Edin) Dzeko to Valencia are cold, but a negotiation may develop with Juventus, who are looking for a deputy to Vlahovic.

“It would be a background profile if Inter were to put him for sale.

“As far as Dybala, Inter will have to communicate with him quickly, but I’m sticking to what we’ve been saying. I don’t see any clubs hot on his trail. It’s calm for Inter, there’s not any rush.”
