Chelsea have initiated discussions with the agents of strikers Hugo Ekitike and Rodrigo Muniz as they aim to strengthen their attacking lineup ahead of the 2025–26 season.

Hugo Ekitike, the 22-year-old French forward, has rejuvenated his career at Eintracht Frankfurt after a challenging period at Paris Saint-Germain.
This season, he has netted 19 goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances, showcasing his prowess as both a finisher and a creative force.
Ekitike’s ability to operate as a secondary striker, making intelligent off-the-ball runs and linking effectively with wide players, aligns well with Chelsea’s tactical approach.
However, securing his services won’t be straightforward, with Arsenal and Liverpool also expressing interest, and Frankfurt valuing him at around €80 million.
On the other hand, Rodrigo Muniz has emerged as a key player for Fulham under Marco Silva. The 23-year-old Brazilian has scored 10 goals this season, demonstrating his physicality and ability to disrupt defenses.
His performances have caught the attention of both Chelsea and Tottenham, with Fulham reportedly setting his price at approximately £34 million.
While both strikers offer distinct qualities, Chelsea is likely to pursue only one, considering their current squad composition and financial considerations.
Ekitike’s versatility and higher goal contribution make him a compelling option, but his higher price tag and competition from other top clubs could pose challenges.
Muniz, being more affordable and already acclimated to the Premier League, presents a practical alternative.​
