Chelsea has reached an agreement to sign Denner Evangelista, a young player from Corinthians who will sign a seven-year contract with the team in 2026, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.
Over the last few years, the Blues have made a major effort to sign the top young players from across the globe, and it doesn’t seem like they’ll be slowing down anytime soon. Just days after turning 17, the 17-year-old is currently playing for Corinthians in Brazil and is active in their youth teams.
Denner has been with Corinthians his entire career and has yet to make his senior debut. He most recently played for the team’s U20 squad. Brazil’s U17 team picked up the young player in advance of the South American U17 Championship, which begins later this month.
Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez, two of the nation’s top players, have signed with Chelsea and will begin playing for the team this summer.
Chelsea agrees to sign 17-Year-Old Brazilian starlet
Chelsea and Corinthians reached an agreement this week for Denner Evangelista, a 17-year-old full-back who will join the team in 2026 and sign a seven-year contract. It now seems that Chelsea is attempting to finalize another deal.
According to TBR Football, the Blues are making a lot of effort to finalize a deal for Mec, a 16-year-old Gremio star who was linked to them last summer.
In 2026, Denner will sign a seven-year contract with Chelsea, which would cost them around €14 million (£12 million) in total. Per South American specialist Ben Mattinson, the 17-year-old is ‘excellent’ and will remain with Corinthians until 2025 as he continues to grow.
Chelsea has recently completed the necessary procedures to sign Denner after beginning negotiations to do so during the January transfer window. The teenage player’s transfer to Stamford Bridge was facilitated in large part by Chelsea’s South American scout, Alysson Marins.
