According to Eindhovens Dagblad, Chelsea and PSV Eindhoven have reached an agreement to acquire Noni Madueke

The 20-year-old attacker will reportedly cost the Blues an initial €35 million to sign from an Eredivisie team, according to the Dutch newspaper. The agreement will cost a stunning €40 million when add-ons total another €5 million. This month, Chelsea has already invested over €170 million in four players, but they are not done.

Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, and Andrey Santos have all permanently joined Graham Potter’s squad. Madueke should be the next after Atletico Madrid loaned Joao Felix to Stamford Bridge.

The young player, who was born in London, initially played for Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. He relocated to the Netherlands in the summer of 2018, and since then, he has developed rapidly. In eight games in all competitions in 2022-23, Madueke has scored just once.

However, Chelsea did not hesitate to splurge the cash since the England youth international has tremendous potential. Over the course of the previous two seasons, he registered ten league goals and seven assists. Madueke, who often plays on the right wing, will be looking to make an immediate impact at Chelsea.

After eight victories and four ties in 19 games, the Pensioners are now ranked 10th in the standings. All eyes will be on Madueke as Potter needs the new players to have an early impact. Chelsea is currently 10 points off the top four, and they will only qualify for the Champions League with an exceptional run of play.
