Chelsea and FPT Corporation have reached a shirt sleeve sponsorship agreement that will cost the team between £17 and £18 million this season. Chelsea and FPT have reached a deal for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season, as The Athletic exclusively reported earlier this week.
The agreed-upon sum is among the highest in the Premier League and is comparable to Manchester United’s £20 million annual contract with DXC Technology. Additionally, Chelsea is nearing the end of its search for a new front-of-shirt sponsor.
After joining the club as an official worldwide partner in April, FPT, a Vietnam-based company that is among Asia-Pacific’s most successful providers of technological solutions, was eager to further their partnership.
Negotiations were heavily influenced by Todd Kline, president of commercial operations, and Jason Gannon, president and chief operating officer of Chelsea.
The arrangement will put FPT on the sleeves of the men’s, women’s, and academy teams and is comparable to the value that other elite Premier League clubs have obtained.
Chelsea agree to a £17-18m deal in major boost for the club
Thankfully, there are some encouraging developments in that area. Chelsea and FPT Corporation have reached an agreement for a shirt sleeve sponsorship, according to The Athletic. The club will receive £17–18 million for it this season.
That will undoubtedly benefit Chelsea. That is among the world’s greatest sleeve sponsorship deals. However, it is not a long-term answer once more. For the remainder of the season, that is.
The team didn’t have a shirt-sleeve partner when the season started. From early February to the FIFA Club World Cup Final in July, Live Nation, which is still a partner at Chelsea, featured their company on the shirts.
Following Chelsea’s impressive 2024–25 season, there was even more competition to be their shirt-sleeve sponsor. They won the Conference League and finished fourth in the Premier League in May, earning a spot in the Champions League. After defeating Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the final two months later, they became the first team to win the Club World Cup.
