According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Jorgensen and his representatives have now opened the door to a potential mid-season move.

The 23-year-old Dane believes he needs regular first-team football to continue his development and to bolster his chances of featuring for Denmark at next summer’s World Cup, assuming the nation qualifies.
Jorgensen arrived at Stamford Bridge as one of Enzo Maresca’s first signings, describing the move as a “dream come true” and signing a long-term seven-year contract.
However, he has primarily served as the cup goalkeeper, remaining firmly behind first-choice Robert Sanchez in the pecking order.
In two seasons, he has managed just seven league appearances for the Blues.
Despite his frustration, the report states that Jorgensen has remained professional and respects Maresca’s decision to stick with Sanchez.
The club has not yet decided whether to grant his potential departure, but a sale is a possibility given their depth at the position, which also includes Gaga Slonina and Mike Penders.
The situation puts a spotlight on Maresca’s faith in Sanchez, whose performances have divided pundits.
While some, like former Chelsea star John Obi Mikel, argue the club needs a “top, top goalkeeper,” others, like ex-England keeper David James, have praised Sanchez as “outstanding” and a foundation for a potential title challenge.
Chelsea, currently third in the Premier League, return to action this weekend against Burnley with this goalkeeping dilemma looming ahead of the January window.
