Chelsea forward planning to leave Stamford Bridge this month

Fofana did not feature in any game of this season under the new manager.

Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana is determined to leave Stamford Bridge this month. This is confirmed by the Blues and they have set up their mind to complete this deal.

Fofana joined Chelsea in the winter transfer window of 2023 from the Norwegian side, Molde. The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2022-23 season before he was loaned out to Union Berlin for the first half of the 2023-24 season.

The Ivory Coast international scored two goals in 17 matches for the German side and was recalled in the winter transfer window. He went on loan to Burnely who were promoted last season. He scored four goals and provided one assist in 15 matches.

Fofana did not feature in pre-season under the new manager and has been left out of each of Chelsea’s five matches in the opening stages of the 2024/25 season.

He was linked with Everton and few Championship clubs but he failed to complete any move. The 21-year-old can still leave the Blues despite missing out deadline day move.

Belgium and Turkey are among the countries who are still open for the transfer as their window is open. Fofana can plan a move to these two countries.
