Chelsea forward will now sign for Ipswich on an initial loan deal for the remainder of the season with the potential for a permanent transfer.
Chelsea forward Armando Broja is planning to make a loan move to the newly promoted club, Ipswich Town. The Tractor Boys have made the breakthrough in discussions for Blues Man.
Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips and Blackburn Rovers forward Sammie Szmodics have each signed for the club in recent days. Szmodics was Championship top goalscorer for 2023-24.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there is a verbal agreement in place for Broja to make the switch to Ipswich. The East Anglian outfit were not the favourites due to the competition from other clubs.
The Albania international will now sign for Ipswich on an initial loan deal for the remainder of the season with the potential for a permanent transfer. The club will be obligated to complete the £30m transfer of Broja should they avoid relegation from Premier League.
Broja was provided with just 695 minutes of football in 2023-24 up until the end of January. He was allowed to feature for only 81 minutes across eight appearances on loan at Fulham.
