Chelsea youngsters Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi are set to play for Chelsea’s U23 against Southampton today.
Chelsea’s new manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that both youngsters will play for the Chelsea Under 23s today, but that’s likely to be the last time.
He also confirmed that both James and Hudson-Odoi are likely to ‘play a part’ in their match in midweek in the Carabao Cup against Grimsby Town.
That’s good news considering they’re going to increase the squad depth which is going to be tested this month with some important fixtures.
The Blues winger, Hudson-Odoi has just signed a new long term contract at Chelsea. He has penned down a new 5-year deal and will make £ 120,000 per week.
