As a possible move to Old Trafford approaches, Raheem Sterling has already spoken his opinions about Manchester United. The 29-year-old was benched by new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca at the start of the 2024–25 season, as he was unable to even start for the west London team against Manchester City and Wolves. Additionally, Sterling has been barred from training with the first squad by the Italian, who also took away his trademark No. 7.

Manchester United star Jadon Sancho is expected to be the target of a player-plus-cash deal from Chelsea and Juventus, with Enzo Maresca’s team apparently getting ready to make the move. The England international is back in the Red Devils’ starting lineup after resolving his disagreement with Erik ten Hag, but he hasn’t played in the Premier League yet this season.

Raheem Sterling linked with Manchester United

Chelsea appears to be considering the possibility, as reported by Jason Burt of the Telegraph. After missing out on United’s team against Brighton on Saturday for the second consecutive weekend, even though the 24-year-old did travel, Sancho has been linked to Juventus. Nevertheless, it has been suggested that Chelsea is prepared to offer Man United TWO players in return for Sancho in an attempt to sabotage Juventus’ pursuit of him.

“Chelsea and Juventus are exploring a deal for Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho,” Sheth wrote on X. Juventus is interested in loaning him. There is speculation that a player who chooses to leave could be part of Chelsea’s offer.

“A loan has not been ruled out, but Manchester United would prefer a permanent sale for Sancho.”
