Antonio Rudiger is on the final three months of his contract.
The German defender will likely leave Stamford Bridge in the summer if Chelsea fails to tie him to a lucrative contract.
He has attracted interest from major European clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester United.
We are yet to see where the 29-year-old ends up in the summer but former Blues defender Glen Johnson has warned Rudiger of Newcastle United move.
Rudiger is currently waiting for a fresh offer by Chelsea’s new owners.

Johnson said: “Yes, I do think it [moving to Newcastle] would be a mistake. Without being disrespectful, there’d be only one reason why Antonio Rüdiger would be going to Newcastle.
“I think he’s still got a lot to offer. If you’re still fighting for titles and going deep in most competitions, why would you look to leave? He’s obviously earning good money now. That’ll continue. No, if he goes to Newcastle right now it’d be for the wrong reasons.”
