N’Golo Kante has often been described as the footballer who never stops running.

However, Chelsea might soon have to see the other side of the footballer. Kante was away on national duty for France when news broke out that he has pulled his hamstring.

The Chelsea midfielder has been in imperious form in the last few weeks for the Blues. Under the Tuchel regime, Kante has been reinstated in his holding number 6 role, where he has done extremely well.

Both his national team and club coaches Didier Deschamps and Thomas Tuchel were raving about the midfielder’s ability and contribution to any team he plays for.

Kante, like many of his Chelsea team-mates was away on international break this week and started for France in their 1-1 draw versus Ukraine.

It was bad news for the Les Bleus as they not only drew the opening match in the World Cup qualifiers but have now also lost Kante for the remainder of the international break.

The extent of N’Golo’s injury has not been assessed yet with the player now on his way back to the club to receive treatment.

Kante’s loss will be a big blow to Chelsea who have a host of hot matches coming up post the international break.

Do you think Chelsea can cope without him?
