This season, the winter player break was introduced.

As a result, Chelsea have made three fixture changes for February.

Chelsea have confirmed that three February games have been moved to new time. Some changes are also as a result of TV broadcast rights, with Chelsea‘s match against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in particular affected by this. The match against Brendan Rodgers’ men is scheduled for 1 February, and the game has been set for an earlier time of 12:30 UK time.

Chelsea will then have a free weekend due to the winter player break, which has been introduced for the first time to alleviate the congested fixtures for English clubs. The Blues will then return for a home tie against Manchester United after the short break, with the match set for Monday, 17 February.

Frank Lampard will then welcome this weekend’s opponents, Tottenham, after the Manchester tie, with the date remaining as Saturday, 22 February, albeit the time has been changed to 12.30 pm UK time. The tie against Tottenham will precede the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, which will be on Tuesday, 25 February.

The Blues will then wrap up the month with an away fixture against Bournemouth on Saturday 29, with an unchanged time of 15:00 UK time.
