Clearlake are open to purchasing any of the remaining 38.5% of shares
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has indicated that he is considering whether to sell his shares in the club. In 2022, Boehly and Clearlake Capital completed a takeover of Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.
According to reports of Bloomberg, the relationship between Clearlake co-founder Behdad Eghbali and Boehly has deteriorated in recent months. Both are now finding options to buy each other out.

Sky Sports News confirmed that Clearlake are not interested to sell their 61.5% stake in the club. They are not under any pressure to give up their interest in Chelsea.
Clearlake are open to purchasing any of the remaining 38.5% of shares which are split between Boehly, Mark Walter and Hansjorg Wyss.
Now, The Telegraph reports that Boehly ‘remains committed’ to the Blues. New ownership invested a huge money in their last two seasons. The duo spent over £1bn since taking control from Abramovich.
Despite giving lot of money in both transfer windows, they failed to win a single trophy. Their best show was reaching into the finals of EFL Cup last season.
