Chelsea recently had their transfer ban from FIFA overturned by CAS.
The Blues are now keen to get back in the market and make some signings. They want to sign Jadon Sancho from Dortmund but the German club have released a statement saying that the Englishman is fundamental to their success.
“We’re continuing to plan with him,” said Zorc. “He’s a fundamental player for us and I do not see any scenario where he leaves us.
“We have already had some situations with him to talk about, and there have been a lot of interviews in the last few weeks.
“We are in a good way; when he came off the bench in Barcelona and also in Berlin, he gave us a top performance.”
Chelsea have a talented pool of young English players and Sancho would fit right in with the likes of Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Moreover, at Dortmund he has recently spent a lot of time on the bench in the last two weeks after getting into rows with management staff.
However, Dortmund are likely to charge him a lot for him whoever they sell him to.
