According to a report, Chelsea may give Manchester United another setback in the transfer market by acquiring Randal Kolo Muani following their raid for Liam Delap. The Blues are reportedly planning two more offensive deals.

Delap was in advanced negotiations to join Manchester United after they decided he was their top striker target. But when United lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were dashed, and their chase of the Englishman came to a standstill.

Delap rejected United in favor of Chelsea in a £30 million deal because he wanted European football after leaving Ipswich Town, ideally the Champions League.

Following Jadon Sancho’s return to United, Chelsea wants to add a right-footed left winger and a versatile attacker to replace Christopher Nkunku, according to sources who spoke to TEAMtalk. Chelsea has set its sights on Kolo Muani to play the position of versatile attacker, according to the French publication L’Equipe.

Chelsea enter talks for Juventus loan star Randal Kolo Muani

The France international is currently not very interested in moving to the Premier League because he would rather remain in Turin, according to Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football.

During the January transfer window, PSG loaned Kolo Muani to Juventus. Since then, he has made an impression with the Old Lady, scoring 10 goals in 20 games. The loan was even extended so that he could play for the Italian powerhouses at the FIFA Club World Cup. Chelsea is evaluating the 26-year-old along with Ekitike as a result of his performance.

Although PSG would love to sell the Bondy native outright, Kolo Muani would prefer to remain with Juventus, who are only interested in another loan agreement.

The frontman moved to Paris in September 2023 for £77 million from Eintracht Frankfurt, and we understand that intermediaries are working with PSG to find a solution. They are offering the player to Manchester United and Aston Villa in the hopes of starting a bidding war.
