Chelsea have looked fragile defensively this season, and they are seeking to improve by recruiting Murillo from Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old defender is well-liked in the Premier League and has excelled with his performances.

The Brazilian has the potential to become a world-class defender, and the move to Chelsea may be ideal for him. Joining a larger club may help him progress even better. He’d gain greater exposure, and European football could help him progress even further.

Mick Brown, a former Premier League scout, has disclosed that Chelsea has the youngster on their radar, but it remains to be seen whether they can complete the transfer. It will be a pricey purchase. Nottingham Forest will not want to lose one of their most important players so cheaply.

Chelsea could use Murillo in defence

If given the proper direction, Murillo, who is still young enough to grow, might become a vital member of Chelsea’s team. Whether or not they can close the transaction will be intriguing to watch. They are not the only team interested in the Brazilian; other teams are also keeping an eye on him. Additionally, Murillo has been linked to Barcelona and Arsenal.

Nottingham Forest will not want to lose a key player like him, and they could easily demand a premium. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea are prepared to break the Bank for the Brazilian defender. They have an excellent team, and signing a quality defender could take them to a whole new level.

Convincing the defender to join the club will not be difficult for Chelsea. They will need to negotiate a reasonable deal with his club first.
