Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea has struck a personal agreement on their largest summer move so far, and the Blues “keep advancing” on Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund.

In order to increase head coach Enzo Maresca’s choices, the Stamford Bridge club has already spent €115 million to buy five new players. However, they are about to finalize the largest transaction of the Italian’s rule in order to acquire former Manchester City prodigy Gittens.

With Romano claiming that personal terms for the transfer have already been agreed upon for an agreement that will run until 2032, Chelsea is still regarded as the front-runner to capture the 20-year-old despite fresh competition from Bayern Munich.

Chelsea and Jamie Gittens have a seven-year pact in place. According to Romano on YouTube, Chelsea is currently negotiating with Dortmund club by club. “Chelsea continues to make progress on this deal and continues to view Gittens as a top summer target.”

Jamie Gittens to Chelsea transfer latest

Chelsea won’t be sidetracked by Bayern’s interest in Gittens, Standard Sport is aware. In order to finalize a deal before the upcoming season, the Blues continue to view the Englishman as their top goal.

Dortmund insisted on Gittens’ £50 million valuation, which stood in the way of Chelsea’s desire to acquire him in time to play in the Club World Cup.

Nicolas Jackson was linked to both Juventus and Napoli over the weekend, but Chelsea is still not interested in selling him. Only four minutes after taking Delap’s place in Friday’s 3-1 Club World Cup loss to Flamengo, Jackson received his second red card in just over a month for a reckless tackle, which infuriated Chelsea supporters.

After Jadon Sancho returned to Manchester United, the head coach of the Blues stated that he wanted to recruit a new winger. He stated, “Jadon is not with us,” as reported by the BBC. That is undoubtedly a position where we most likely need to take action.
