Though the Blues are willing to listen to loan offers
Roben Loftus-Cheek came through the ranks of Chelsea and made his senior debut for the club in 2014. The classy midfielder is held in high regard by those in west London.
But the 22 year old couldn’t establish himself as a regular for the Blues at the path was blocked by big money signings. He just made 32 appearances for the club before joining Crystal Palace on a season long loan last summer in order to get more first team football.
Despite struggling with injuries, the midfielder was impressive with his performances for the Eagles, score two goals and assisted three in 24 appearances. He has shown what he is capable of when given regular game time, with senior international recognition coming his way with England
He has been selected in the World Cup squad and made a dream full debut in the 6-1 Group G thrashing of Panama on Sunday, which enhanced his reputation even further. He provided an assist to Harry Kane which secured his hat-trick.
The England International will return to training late after the World Cup but his future has been in doubt this summer. It is believed that he is reluctant to work under Antonio Conte in the upcoming season and has made it clear he does not want to return to the club to sit on the substitutes’ bench, which has alerted clubs like Crystal Palace,West Ham and Everton.
Though Conte has been heavily linked with summer exit and former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is expected to replace him ahead of the next season.
Chelsea will not sanction a permanent move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, reports The Telegraph, but are willing to listen to loan offers.
