Napoli are open to get bids of around €100m for Chelsea target Osimhen.
Chelsea are leading the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and they are keen to finish the contract this month. The Italian giants are willing to lower their asking price.
Partenopei president Aurelio de Laurentiis has resigned himself to losing the Nigeria international to one of Europe’s most esteemed clubs this summer.
Napoli striker agreed on a new contract with the club in December and his contract will now end in the summer of 2026. There is reportedly a release clause of around £113m included in the agreement.
De Laurentiis has insisted that the nine-figure sum be paid in full should an interested party wish to prise the Nigerian away from Napoli, leading the Blues to cool their interest.
As per the reports of Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea and Napoli are prepared to lower their demands for their respective strikers. Napoli are open to get bids of around €100m for Osimhen.
Chelsea have already signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona for £5m and have also signed Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.
