The German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund is optimistic that they will finalize the acquisitions of Aaron Anselmino and Carney Chukwuemeka the following week.

Aaron Anselmino and Carney Chukwuemeka are anticipated to join Borussia Dortmund the following week, according to Fabrizio Romano. The German team has been putting a lot of effort into reaching agreements with Chelsea, and they finally have everything they need to complete the transactions.

In the summer of 2022, Chukwuemeka joined the Blues after establishing himself at Aston Villa. The 21-year-old midfielder hasn’t made a name for himself in the first squad despite having enormous talent.

He ended up joining Dortmund on a brief loan in the winter after struggling for minutes in the first part of the previous campaign. He played in 17 games for the German team and had a couple standout performances.

Enzo Maresca no longer has Chukwuemeka in his plans, even though he is back at his original club and still has three years remaining on his contract. Dortmund has been preparing a possible move as the Blues are prepared to sell.

Chukwuemeka is reportedly on his way to Dortmund, despite recent reports that Serie A powerhouse Juventus is interested in negotiating terms with Chelsea for him.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Dortmund has agreed to pay around €20 million (£17.3 million) plus add-ons to get the Chelsea midfield player. Die Borussen anticipates completing both acquisitions by Monday and is also certain that they will acquire 20-year-old defender Aaron Anselmino from the same team.

According to reports, Chelsea made Dortmund agree to let Anselmino go on loan provided they also agreed to recruit Chukwuemeka on a permanent basis. The agreements are allegedly nearing completion.

Axel Disasi, Nkunku, Jackson, Ben Chilwell, David Datro Fofana, Raheem Sterling, and other out-of-favor players have not yet found new clubs, although Renato Veiga has already left the team to join Villarreal.

Although the Blues had demanded £40 million for Chukwuemeka, they will have to be content with the money they receive in return. Given the positive commercial connection between the two clubs, a settlement is feasible, and the midfield player is keen to rejoin the German team.
