John Salako has suggested that a swap deal for Giroud plus cash could be on the cards for Wilf Zaha.
Chelsea are now looking for new players after having their transfer ban overturned.
One of the key players who could be headed to the Bridge is Wilf Zaha.
However, Palace have a heavy price tag on their prized asset and Chelsea will have to either pay a lot of money or lose one of their own players in order to execute a swap deal.
“I honestly don’t think Wilf will go to Chelsea. Hudson Odoi has come back, and I don’t think they’ll want to hinder his development,” Salako told Love Sport Radio. “But Willian and Pedro are getting on a bit, and maybe they’ll want someone to add to that.
“They could do a great little swap, though. Palace have got their eyes on Giroud, and that would be fantastic – Giroud plus money! If Palace get the right offer, they could be tempted.”
The Chelsea team under Lampard do have exciting young players who make football look fun and adding Zaha to the list will be another major asset for the Blues
