Leandro Trossard would be open to joining Chelsea.

The Belgian forward would take the chance to reunite with former manager Graham Potter at Chelsea.

He was one of the key players for Potter last term and scored eight goals in 35 appearances across all competitions.

Trossard would be keen to follow former teammate Marc Cucurella to West London if he gets the chance but he would need guaranteed minutes in a competitive squad first.

Trossard said to newspaper Het Nieuwsblad: ‘Our coach did leave for Chelsea now but speculation about me following him makes no sense.

‘If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I want to play and not sit on the bench.’

‘I feel very good. We have had a very good start with Brighton. I have evolved enormously,’ he continued.

‘I now know how Premier League works. I grew a lot in that. Confidence, mentally, physically,… I have gotten better. I’ve mastered the tricks now.’
