Chelsea sealed a 2-1 win over Leicester City on Tuesday evening.

Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho gave Chelsea the lead before Kelechi Iheanacho scored a goal for the visitors.

The Blues lost the FA Cup final to Brendan Rodger’s men last Saturday.

The Foxes are on the prospect of missing out on Champions League football as Liverpool swopped in the 4th place leaving Leicester City at 5th.

Brendan Rodgers lauded Mason Mount’s excellent season for the Blues claiming the youngster is at ‘top, top level’.

‘We’re coming up against a team who are in the Champions League final,’ said Rodgers.

‘They’ve shown consistently that they’ve got top-class players.

‘I want to mention Mason Mount because this is a young guy I’d heard early on in the season there was maybe doubts around him, whether he should be playing or not for Chelsea.

‘This boy is top, top level. They can be very proud of him here at Chelsea, the academy, he’s an incredible footballer and he’s going to be that.’
