This summer, Bayern Munich is prepared to compete with Liverpool for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount

According to Football Insider, Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern and the former Blues, is a fan of Mason Mount from their time working together at Stamford Bridge.

His current deal with Chelsea will expire in the summer of 2024, which means Chelsea is rapidly running out of time to keep him as a long-term member of the team.

In contrast to last season, the 24-year-old’s statistics are quite poor; he reached double digits for both goals and assists in the 2021/22 campaign. He has only made three goals and two assists in England’s top division thus far in 2022–23.

Many people have praised Mason Mount throughout his career; in an interview with ITV, pundit Roy Keane called those who had criticised the Chelsea midfielder “idiots” and called him “outstanding” (per The Daily Mail).

The England international will undoubtedly have a lot of suitors if he decides to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, as both Bayern and Liverpool appear interested in signing him this summer.
