Bayern Munich has completed the signing of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for £56.2 million, pending appearance-based conditions.
Nicolas Jackson Joins Bayern on Loan in £70.5m Agreement
The total deal, worth £70.5 million, includes an initial loan fee of £14.3 million.
The transfer saga saw dramatic twists over the weekend. Chelsea initially pulled out of the agreement after striker Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury during their Premier League win over Fulham on Saturday.

Despite being ordered to return to London, Jackson remained in Munich, determined to force through the move.
His persistence paid off as Bayern re-entered negotiations on Monday, securing the revised deal with an obligation to buy rather than an option.
Jackson, who scored 30 goals in 81 appearances for Chelsea, expressed his excitement:
“I’m really happy to now be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world.
I’ve got big goals and dreams here and will give my all to help Bayern win further titles”.
The 24-year-old Senegal international had fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge following disciplinary issues, including red cards against Newcastle and Flamengo last season, which eroded manager Enzo Maresca’s trust.
His move to Bayern provides Chelsea with financial flexibility while bolstering the German club’s attack as cover for Harry Kane.
Jackson could face his parent club as early as September 17 in the Champions League, as UEFA rules permit loanees to play against their owning teams.
