Benjamin Pavard was linked with a move away from Bayern this summer.

The French defender considered leaving the Bavarians this summer amid interests from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Any clubs would have to cough up £30million to sign the 26-year-old defender.

He has entered the final two years of his Bayern contract and was uncertain over his future this summer.

He was further persuaded to prolong his stay by Julian Nagelsmann but he did not rule out a move in the future.

“I questioned myself, I had calls from different clubs with my agent,” Pavard said to Telefoot.

“Afterwards, I had the Bayern coach with whom we spoke and with whom we have a good relationship. He made me understand that I was in his plans, that I was important for the team.

“Maybe one day I will go to one of these clubs, you never know what the future holds. I’m still a year at Bayern Munich. Afterwards, we have time to project ourselves.”
