Chelsea are believed to be willing to activate his release clause.

Chelsea are looking to sign a young squad ahead of the new season and they have picked Barcelona teenage striker Marc Guiu as the primary target during the summer window.

The Spanish journalist Gerard Romero claims the West London club are prepared to meet his €6 million release clause. The teenage sensation broke out this season.

The 18-year-old made his debut for Barca in October 2023 due to an injury to Robert Lewandowski. He scored the winner against Athletic Bilbao after coming on for Fermin Lopez.

The Spain youth international also becomes the youngest and fastest debutant to score for Barcelona in the Spanish top-flight at 17 years and 291 days of age. He has one year left on his deal with the club.

Chelsea have started preparing for the young talent and they are believed to be willing to activate his release clause. The 18-year-old is having a talk with Chelsea regarding personal terms.

It is also quite interesting that Chelsea has already signed Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman and they are now moving for another teenage player. Last year, they invested £15 million on Deivid Washington.
