Ashley Cole commends Mason Mount for his impact in the England national team.
England and Chelsea legend Ashley Cole is full of praises for the 21-year-old who already made nine appearances for the national team.
Cole believes Mount is one of Gareth Southgate’s favourites in the squad.
Mason Mount scored the match-winning goal for England against Belgium yesterday and Cole went on explaining why is he a favourite of Southgate’s.

“He has everything. He plays in the Chelsea team consistently, he seems to be one of Gareth’s favourites,” said Cole on Sky Sports.
“He brings a lot of work ethic, desire – not just that, but now he brings quality on the ball.
“He’s willing to break lines without the ball and he connects the game well. He’s a fantastic player and for me, one of the best young midfielders in England right now.
“He’s got that ability to connect the midfield to a front three but he can play off either side of the wings because he has that game intelligence to come inside, pick up little pockets and little areas that he can’t mark. He can also finish when needed.”
