Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has criticised Chelsea for releasing League Cup hero Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah joined the Gunners after being released by Chelsea back in 2015.

The 18-year-old came to Arsenal’s resue on Tuesday evening, reversing a 1-0 deficit against Norwich City in the League Cup.


The forward scored 24 times in 35 appearances at all youth levels last season.

He also netted 24 goals the season prior, demonstrating his goal-scoring prowess.

Meanwhile for England under 18 and 19’s he has scored seven goals in four appearances.
