Mason Mount of Chelsea is being chased by Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool
The 24-year-old’s current contract with the London club expires in June 2024, and he has not yet reached an agreement on fresh terms.
With 35 appearances across all competitions this season, he has been a crucial part of the Blues’ team.
Mount has played for his hometown club in around to 200 senior matches, but he is most likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. Arsenal has entered the race for the England international, joining United, Liverpool, and other parties.
The Gunners are eager to sign new players this summer as they compete with Manchester City for the Premier League championship this year. Declan Rice of West Ham United is apparently their top target, but Mount has also become a target. Despite his inconsistent play this year, the 24-year-old is still unquestionably among the Premier League’s top midfielders.
The last two years, the England international has been recognised as the Blues’ Player of the Year. In 195 first-team games with Chelsea, he has tallied 33 goals and 37 assists. Arsenal might benefit by hiring Mount, although it might be difficult for them to do so.
