According to sources, Arsenal has made an offer to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke this summer, although they are still interested in Real Madrid star Rodrygo. In an attempt to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s midfield, the Gunners have already arranged £55 million and £9 million agreements for Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad and Christian Norgaard of Brentford.

In addition to signing a “full agreement” on personal terms with Valencia center-back Cristhian Mosquera, Arsenal is giving goalkeeper David Raya some competition with the £5 million signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.

On his YouTube channel, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano provided an explanation of the Mosquera scenario, stating, Cristhian Mosquera’s initial offer from Arsenal for €14 million was turned down. Arsenal is hoping to complete a deal for this Spanish defender for between €20 million and €25 million when they return to the table.

Let’s assume that it will cost more than €20 million to acquire Mosquera, whose contract with Valencia expires in a year, who has accepted the terms offered by Arsenal and is not extending it.

Arsenal submit offer to sign Chelsea star

Real Madrid star Rodrygo is still a dream target for the Champions League semi-finalists, and Arteta is eager to add a new winger to his team. However, the Brazilian has not yet decided on his future at the Bernabeu, so Arsenal is looking at other options.

Although David Ornstein has stated that the pursuit is distinct from the hunt for a new winger, Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is also rumored to be a target. Meanwhile, Nico Williams appears to be leaving for Barcelona despite the Gunners’ intense interest.

After Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens joined Chelsea, Madueke might decide to depart, while West Ham star Mohammed Kudus is still a target for Maresca’s team for £60 million.

The Italian manager has already expressed his wish to retain Madueke on the team, though. Maresca stated last month that Noni is our player. Although there is a lot of conjecture right now, we view Noni as our player for the upcoming campaign.

Madueke is presently playing for Chelsea at the Club World Cup. The team has started two of its four games in the US so far, and they will next play Brazilian team Palmeiras on Sunday morning.
