Armando Broja confirms three transfer options amid potential Chelsea exit
Chelsea striker Armando Broja has confirmed he is considering offers from three different leagues as AC Milan lead the chase for his signature.
The 22-year-old Albanian international, who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Fulham, could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge as part of Enzo Maresca’s squad overhaul.
Broja, who has struggled with injuries and game time, revealed he will discuss his future with his agent and family in the coming weeks.
“It’s true, I have offers from Serie A, Bundesliga, and Premier League,” Broja told RTV Klan.
“I still have a contract with Chelsea that expires in many years, so staying is an option too. But I need to speak to my agent and my family before making any decisions.”
Italian giants AC Milan have emerged as strong contenders for Broja, with club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic playing a pivotal role in the negotiations.
When asked about the potential move, Broja expressed his admiration for the Swedish legend. “I have always been a big fan of Ibrahimovic,” Broja said. “Milan is a great club, second only to Real Madrid in history.”
Broja’s stint at Fulham saw limited action, with the in-form Rodrigo Munoz keeping him out of the starting lineup. A serious knee injury in December 2022 also hampered his progress at Chelsea, where he managed only one Premier League goal before his loan move.
With Chelsea bringing in new attacking talents, including Nicolas Jackson, Broja’s future at the club remains uncertain. Everton has also shown interest in the young striker, adding another dimension to his potential next move.
As Broja weighs his options, Chelsea is reportedly finalizing a £30 million deal for Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, with a swap deal for teenage midfielder Michael Golding also in the works.
