Antonio Rudiger will likely join Real Madrid in the summer.
The Chelsea defender decided to leave the club in the summer as confirmed by Tuchel in his last press conference.
But Simon Jordans his wage demands are very high and Chelsea will be better off without the German defender.
“Have a look at these conditions, I mean have you seen some of the conditions they want,” said Jordan, while discussing what Rudiger’s team sought off Chelsea.
“200,000 a week, which by the way is ridiculous amounts of money. He wants a ten million pound sign-on… his ghastly, wretched agent wants ten million quid.”
But manager Thomas Tuchel really wanted the German defender to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
“We gave everything – me and the club – but we could not fight anymore because of the actions,” said Tuchel after Chelsea’s 1-0 victory against West Ham.
“Without the sanctions, we would at least be able to carry on fighting, but our hands are tied. We don’t take it personally. It is his decision.”
